Jimbo Jones

Incorporating found sounds, humour and political overtones, the Dublin artist, Jimbo Jones, creates immersive worlds informed by cutting-edge scientific, psychological and economic research. His latest project, We Only Want the Earth, is set to release this Friday. Born from fear of the political, societal and environmental realities we find ourselves in today, this concept album draws on a broad range of research, framing macro forces through a personal lens. His distinctive sound, experimental sound design sat on a bed of self-assured rhythms and pop sensibilities, pulls inspiration from The Streets, LCD Soundsystem and Björk. Jimbo's live shows are where these conceptual projects can be realised in a visceral, raw and theatrical performance.

Famous Tex

Famous Tex is a Dublin based producer whose output varies from an approach focused on distortion and sound design to one sampling genres such as dream pop, ethereal wave and trap, creating impactful and emotional loops that add to his overall sonic storytelling.
